      Overview

      IGT is a world systems leader in developing casino management solutions. IGT is looking for a talented individual to take on a role of a Software Engineer who is passionate about superior customer service focused on IGT’s next generation Cloud/WAN/LAN services. You will be responsible for helping drive several critical initiatives & projects with various focuses across the Platform Systems business. If you thrive on providing optimum levels of customer service, passionate about software development, automation, and enjoys the challenge of working in highly distributed and dynamic environment, then this position is for you.

      As a Software Engineer I you will be responsible for the design and development of builds, scripts, installation procedures, and systems including source code control and issue tracking. Be actively engaged in communication and collaboration between software development and infrastructure teams. As a member of the team, you will play a key role in ensuring stability, performance, and fine tuning of IGT applications.

      Responsibilities

      • Perform hands-on software design and development
      • Implement software based on provided design from Architecture
      • Work closely with multiple software teams to develop commercial applications
      • Write unit tests and perform peer design/code reviews
      • Work closely with requirements engineers to estimate and develop top quality products
      • Promote high quality and timely completion of projects
      • Work with onsite and remote teams
      • Strive for continuous improvement in efficiency
      • Deliver top quality feature rich software on time on budget

      Qualifications

      Required Qualifications:

      • Computer Science Bachelor's degree, College degree or equivalent experience
      • Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, SQL
      • Knowledge of software debugging tools
      • Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming
      • Priority consideration will be given to candidates with familiarity design patterns, code quality, and unit testing
      • Must be able to pass a security investigation

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • Solid experience with version control systems
      • Familiarity and experience with production deployment and troubleshooting
      • Experience with build automation tools

      At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $39,848 - $103,002. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

      Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .
