      Job Summary

      Comcast is seeking a Software Engineer who can design, develop, and maintain automation tools and scripts for our software products and operations. You will work closely with our development, testing, and support teams to ensure the quality, reliability, and efficiency of our software solutions. You will also troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the software development lifecycle and provide technical support to our customers and partners.

      Job Description

      What You'll Do:

      • Develop and maintain automation tools and scripts for software testing, deployment, and monitoring

      • Integrate automation tools and scripts with existing software systems and platforms

      • Identify and implement best practices and standards for software automation and support operations

      • Analyze and optimize the performance and scalability of software products and processes

      • Debug and fix software defects and issues reported by customers and partners

      • Provide technical support and guidance to customers and partners on software products and processes

      • Document and update software automation and support operations procedures and workflows

      What You'll Need:

      • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

      • At least 1+ years of experience in software development, automation, and support operations

      • Proficient in one or more programming languages, such as Python, Java, C++, or Ruby

      • Experience with automation tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, Jenkins, Ansible, or Puppet

      • Experience with software testing methodologies and tools, such as unit testing, integration testing, and code coverage

      • Experience with Agile software development tools and platforms, such as Git, GitHub, or Azure DevOps

      • Experience with software support tools and platforms, such as Jira and ServiceNow

      • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

      • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

      • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
