  Technology Enablement Group is looking for a Software Engineer to translate and transfer data between Windows to Ruby on Rails based infrastructure.

  As a Software Engineer Intern, you will partner with other software engineers on development of infrastructure to validation accurate conversion and automated transfer of data between Microsoft Windows formats to custom PostgresSQL data models using Ruby on Rails.

  Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Analyze current applications, create design plan and implement enhancements
  • Reformat data in Microsoft Windows files like OneNote, Excel, Word into structured XML
  • Work with subject experts to ensure testing of the application is complete.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the user experience.

  Knowledge and/or experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork and/or classes and/or research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

  Minimum Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a Masters degree in computer science or engineering, or related discipline.
  • 6+ months of hands-on experience working with one or more of
    • Ruby on Rails or Python
    • Programmatically interacting with Microsoft files like OneNote, Word, Excel
    • Understanding structured XML data

  Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in

  US, California:$63,000.00-$166,000.00

  S al ary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience.

  Work Model for this Role

  This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
