      Software Engineer Level 1
      National Corporate Housing is seeking a Software Engineer Level 1 to join our team and contribute to our software development and application platform projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to play a significant role in our enterprise-wide transformation.
      We are looking for someone who will actively participate in our software development and application platform projects, assisting in creating and executing software roadmaps to achieve our business goals.
      As we continue to expand our software initiatives, the ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in software development concepts and a willingness to learn and grow. You will collaborate with our team, contributing to the ideation, development, and enhancement of software solutions, while also conducting technical analysis and participating in code review processes. This role offers the opportunity to apply technology solutions to complex business problems and actively contribute to the improvement and innovation of our software platforms.
      Expectations for Success
      • Assist in the design, development, testing, maintenance, and support of software applications.
      • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and contribute to the implementation of solutions.
      • Utilize web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to develop user interfaces and front-end components.
      • Leverage the Azure platform and services for cloud-based development tasks.
      • Participate in database development and reporting tasks using SQL Server, including querying and basic database management.
      • Apply programming skills in C#, JavaScript, and .NET Core for application development.
      • Contribute to version control processes using Git for code management and collaboration.
      • Assist with QA and UAT tasks and write automated unit tests.
      • Assist with integration tasks using technologies like SharePoint, Logic Apps/Power Automate, and Salesforce.
      • Support reporting tasks using tools such as Power BI.
      • Create and maintain documentation for supporting National Corporate Housing’s software ecosystem.
      • Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continually improve software development processes and practices.
      • Assist IT resources with technical issues where domain experience is required.
      Qualifications & Requirements
      • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field preferred.
      • One to two years’ related experience.
      • Basic understanding of software development concepts and methodologies.
      • Familiarity with web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
      • Working experience with Azure services, including App Services, Databases (Cosmos and SQL), and Logic Apps / Power Apps.
      • Knowledge of SQL Server or other relational databases and TSQL.
      • Programming experience in C# or similar languages.
      • Familiarity with version control systems (Git). Azure DevOps preferred.
      • Eagerness to learn and grow in a collaborative team environment.
      • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
      • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
      • Ability to effectively prioritize work and manage deadlines.
