- Collaborate with Product Management and business stakeholders and work with other engineers to interpret business needs into technical requirements.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, manage, and configure applications and environments.
- Develop and maintain Java applications in the development, test and production environments.
- Create unit tests for developed code.
- Use Terraform to manage infrastructure as code.
- Provide input into story sizing, backlog grooming, and release planning.
- Participate in peer discussions on architecture and overall direction for application development.
- Perform monitoring, trouble-shooting and root cause investigations for production systems.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or other engineering discipline), and 2+ years experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and up to 2 year's experience; or 14 years' experience in a related field.
- 2+ years experience developing and maintaining software which runs in production on the JVM
- 2+ years experience in developing software using AWS technologies such as SQS, ECS, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, etc
- 2+ years experience using and developing applications on relational databases
- Experience building and maintaining software running in a CI/CD pipeline using tools such as GitHub Actions
- Experience using Terraform to create and maintain cloud infrastructures
- Experience instrumenting systems with observability via tools like NewRelic, Splunk, Firebase, and PagerDuty
- Experience developing applications with Salesforce
- Experience developing Mobile applications in Flutter/Dart
- Experience developing applications automated with LambdaTest

Compensation
Compensation includes a base salary of $85,500.00 - $128,300.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.Job Description
As a Software Engineer II, you will be a key member of our backend development team, primarily working with Java technologies. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining server-side applications throughout the full software development life cycle. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, write clean and efficient code, participate in code reviews, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes.
