As a Software Engineer, you will join the Core Enterprise team in BHN Bangalore, India. This team is responsible for BHN Core services and connected across multiple platforms and technologies. Our team members enjoy dealing with technical challenges in a fast-paced, collaborative, and positive environment. We value strong technical ability, great communication skills and a can-do attitude. Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications using Spring framework.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party systems.
• Implement and optimize AWS services to support scalability, reliability, and performance of applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
• Perform code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure quality and reliability of software solutions.
• Stay updated with the latest technologies and trends in Java development, Spring framework, and AWS services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Java Developer, with at least 2+ of experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in Java programming language and Spring framework.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and DynamoDB.
• Experience with microservices architecture and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle, Agile methodologies, and CI/CD practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
