Job Summary

As a Software Engineer III - C++ Developer at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate & Investment Bank Securitized Product Team you will dive head-first into creating innovative solutions that advance businesses and careers. You’ll join an inspiring and curious team of technologists dedicated to improving the design, analytics, development, coding, testing and application programming that goes into creating high quality software and new products. Coming in with an understanding of the importance of end-to-end software development-such as Agile frameworks-is key and best of all, you’ll be working with and sharing ideas, information and innovation with our global team of technologists from all over the world.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work with a global team of developers to enhance the various applications
• Develop and port apps on different Linux platforms and compiler versions, debug, optimize and improve the applications in C++ , java, python
• Help with support of the application and coordinating with business and technology partners
• Contribute to the Cybersecurity, Sustained Resiliency company efforts

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience
• Experience as a C++ software developer on Linux Operating System.
• Current knowledge of C++ standards and specifications.
• Extensive experience in deploying software on Linux Operation System.
• Good experience on Makefile and Shell Scripting.
• Should have hands on these C++ features: STL, Data Structures, Algorithms
• Should be able to demonstrate experience in multi-threading and socket programming.
• Knowledge of SQL, JavaScript, and XML.
• Superb analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

• Proficiency in C++ compliant languages such as C, Java, and Python.
• Experience developing applications that are AWS/cloud ready
• JMS technologies experience (ex: TIBCO, Qpid, Kafka)
• In-Memory Data Grid experience (ex: GemFire, Hazelcast, Ehcache, Coherence)
• Distributed Computing experience (ex: Symphony Platform, DataSynapse, Apache Spark)
