      Job Title: Software Engineer III


      Job Description

      We are seeking a talented Software Engineer III to join our dynamic team. This role involves developing high-quality software solutions and ensuring the successful execution of projects within an Agile environment. You will engage in collaboration with stakeholders and government customers, contributing to innovative software development and testing processes.

      Responsibilities

      • Write code in C++ and Java.
      • Create and run unit tests.
      • Develop software documentation.
      • Perform test planning, monitoring, and execution of test activities.
      • Review and verify system-level and software-level requirements.
      • Develop and execute automated software test cases in a Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.
      • Collaborate with stakeholders and government customers.
      • Work within an Agile team environment, including iteration planning, feature and story development, sprint planning, and iteration retrospectives.
      • Participate in demos for the team and program sprint reviews.

      Essential Skills

      • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM-related field and 5 - 7 years of related experience.
      • Active Secret Security Clearance.
      • Familiarity with automated software requirements testing and analysis.
      • Experience with software containerization and orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
      • Knowledge of DevSecOps, continuous integration/continuous delivery, and deployment (CI/CD) automation.
      • Unix/Linux operating system experience.
      • Object-oriented C++/Java software development experience.
      • Understanding of modeling and simulation.

      Additional Skills & Qualifications

      • Experience using DevSecOps tools and methods such as Ansible and Git/GitLab.
      • Experience using Agile project management tools like Jira and Confluence.
      • Experience in Product Owner or Scrum Master roles.
      • Experience developing automation tools and test cases.
      • Highly experienced with Linux scripting and operations.
      • Prior experience with Missile Defense Agency (MDA) programs and/or systems.

      Work Environment

      This role is based on-site at a state-of-the-art facility, offering a collaborative and innovative work environment. The position requires supporting an in-person/closed-area work environment.

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $140000.00/yr.
