What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Build complex integrations using web service technologies such as SOAP, REST, and XML for Workday SaaS solutions
- Analyze technical and systems problems, recommending automated solutions and improvements
- Create system specifications, write code, and execute unit, integration, and acceptance testing
- Lead cross-functional teams to address system, interface, data, and vendor issues
- Document communications to customers and support client teams in creating complex reports
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years of developer experience
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience with business applications, specifically within the Workday product suite
- Experience with web service integrations (SOAP, REST, WSDL, XML) and working knowledge of XSLT
- Familiarity with iterative or agile software development methodologies
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with XSLT editors, such as Oxygen
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to work independently while effectively balancing competing priorities
- Familiarity with object-oriented and relational model concepts
- Creative and innovative thinking for problem-solving and new Workday enhancements
