- Developing tests for new applications, new features and regressions.
- Developing test strategies with application teams.
- Automating tests as part of our continuous integration systems.
- Investigating issues and creating reproducible test cases.
- Conducting manual, exploratory testing.
- Reporting test results clearly (including performance and coverage).
- Developing tooling to help reduce test time
- Make suggestions and recommendations for improvements to help shape the finished product
- 3-5 years experience in developing tests for software applications.
- Experience of automating tests.
- An understanding of software testing techniques.
- Good C# programming skills.
- Understanding of C++.
- Experience in triaging bugs and creating reproducible tests.
- Familiarity with software build tools, issue tracking and source control systems.
- Experience of Microsoft Windows applications.
- Experience of Microsoft Visual Studio.
- Experience of using Selenium/Appium.
- Experience using Powershell and Python.
- Experience of testing development tools.
- Experience of testing on Linux & Mac
- Passion for software quality and a positive customer experience.
- The ability to gain the respect of, and work successfully with others, regardless of reporting line.
- Influencing and persuasion skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Is thorough, patient, and works calmly under pressure.
