      As a backend developer, your primary responsibilities will include:

      • Design and develop Java based, robust, scalable, and secure web applications to support high volume transactions.
      • Writing efficient code and creating libraries that adhere to best practices in performance, security, testability and reusability.
      • Participating in technical design, software analysis, code review and thus recommend alternate solutions, techniques for betterment. Identify the bottlenecks and propose with possible solutions.
      • Demonstrating end-to-end ownership of the product. Embrace a DevSecOps mindset, taking requirements from implementation to production deployment and support. Rapidly respond to and troubleshoot issues arising from production.
      • Communicating in a clear, concise, and timely manner. Collaborate effectively with all team members, embodying the spirit of a team player.
      • Cultivating a growth mindset, ready to learn and adapt in alignment with the organization's direction.

      Ready to embark on the journey? Here’s what we are looking for:

      As a back end Java developer, at least 4 years of hands-on implementation knowledge in Java 11/ above, Spring Boot, REST/SOAP Webservices, JSON is expected. Very good knowledge of OOP concepts, Design patterns, Microservices, Database concepts, Spring Data, Junit/Mockito is expected. Expert understanding of code versioning tools (like Git). Knowledge about build & containerization tools/platforms such as Maven, Docker, Kubernetes is required. Performance analysis, JVM memory analysis, Jenkins, OpenShift and Azure basics will also be required for succeeding in this role.

      You are able to work independently, prioritize and organize your tasks under time and workload pressure. Working in a multinational environment, you can expect cross-region collaboration with teams around the globe, thus being advanced in spoken and written English will be certainly useful.
