  This position is full-time, Monday-Friday, and will run May/June to December; it is only eligible for current students with a graduation date past December 2024.

  We are seeking a Software Engineering Intern to work onsite at Huntsville AL,

  Primary Responsibilities:

  • The selected intern will primarily be responsible for software engineering and development using Java.

  • Additional responsibilities include knowledge of software practices and coding standards.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to review performance issues.

  • Experience working as part of an Agile team - familiarity with Java.

  • Ability to maintain a minimum work schedule of 10 hours per week through the Fall 2024.

  • Currently enrolled in and with a minimum of 30 credit hours completed towards a Software or System Engineering

  Basic Qualifications:

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position

  Preferred Qualifications:

  • Successful candidates will have a good balance of software engineering aptitude.

  • Strong background in MS Office applications and computer operation

  • Experience in other software is a plus.
