  This position is full-time, Monday-Friday, and will run May-August.

  We are seeking a Software Engineer Intern to work onsite at Colorado Springs, CO.

  Primary Responsibilities:

  • The selected intern will primarily be responsible for software engineering.

  • Programming Languages (e.g. Java, Python, C++)

  • Object-Oriented Design and Development.

  • Data Structures and Algorithms.

  • Database Management.

  • Web Development (e.g. HTML, CSS, JavaScript)

  • Software Testing and Debugging.

  • Experience working as part of an Agile team.

  • Currently enrolled in and with a minimum of 30 credit hours completed towards a Cyber Engineering major.

  Basic Qualifications:

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

  Preferred Qualifications:

  • Successful candidates will have a good balance of system engineering aptitude.

  • Strong background in MS Office applications and computer operation

  The salary range for this role is 52,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
