What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with product teams to influence and improve product offerings
- Design, build, and maintain scalable Java and Go services hosted in AWS
- Create customer-focused software within a distributed system
- Engage with engineering teams to translate internal and customer needs into technical requirements
- Develop automated processes for troubleshooting and incident management
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 4+ years of experience in designing and operating high-scale cloud-based systems
- Extensive experience with RESTful API design and development
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related industry experience
- Familiarity with Java or Go and best coding practices
- Experience with AWS, GCP, or other public cloud providers
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Prior experience with large-scale datastores on DynamoDB
- Experience in building and deploying multi-regional systems
- Familiarity with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
