  About the Role

  Craft the future of data analytics at Adobe! As a Software Engineer on our Adobe Analytics team in Lehi, you’ll build scalable Java systems. This is a hands-on role for engineers passionate about using modern tools to power critical infrastructure for global enterprise clients.

  Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize Java/Spark pipelines for data ingestion, processing, and storage using Delta Lake, Parquet, and cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure).
  • Integrate and maintain data pipelines with MongoDB (NoSQL) and MariaDB (SQL) to support analytics workflows.
  • Debug, refactor, and scale systems in production environments, focusing on performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and product teams to translate requirements into robust solutions.
  • Leverage AI-powered development tools to accelerate coding, testing, and documentation workflows.
  • Implement standard methodologies for CI/CD, testing, and cloud-native architecture in a fast-paced Agile environment.

  Required Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of professional experience in software development (recent graduates with strong projects welcome).
  • Proficiency in Java (or Scala/Python) and experience building distributed systems.
  • Hands-on experience with big data tools: Spark, cloud data services, or ETL frameworks.
  • Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., MariaDB, MongoDB) or data storage formats (Parquet, ORC).
  • Experience using AI-assisted coding tools to improve development efficiency.
  • Foundational knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).

  Preferred Qualifications

  • Internship or academic projects involving large-scale data processing (Spark, Kafka, Flink).
  • Exposure to Delta Lake, Airflow, or Kubernetes for data orchestration.
  • Interest in data governance, performance optimization, or real-time analytics.

  Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $93,200 -- $170,600 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

  At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

  In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
