  Description:
  Full lifecycle application development. Designing, coding and debugging applications in various software languages. Software analysis, code analysis, requirements analysis, software review, identification of code metrics, system risk analysis, software reliability analysis. Object-oriented Design and Analysis (OOA and OOD). Software modeling and simulation. Front end graphical user interface design. Software testing and quality assurance. Performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability, automation. Supports, maintains and documents software functionality. Integrates software with existing systems. Evaluates and identifies new technologies for implementation. Maintains standards compliance. Implements localization or globalization of software.
  
  Virtual/Work from Home: Hybrid
  
  Software Engineer needed to participate in the development of new radar software and in the sustainment of existing radar software. The candidate will work within a small team of engineers on software development and software maintenance of OTH Radar systems and similar associated systems. This person will develop and maintain code for real-time and off-line applications. They will implement and test software modifications and algorithms using C++ and MATLAB. Software will be professionally packaged, tested, documented, and delivered for use by others.
  
  Other information relevant to the job requirement?
  
  Required Skills:
  • Expert in MATLAB and C++
  • Experience using DDS open architecture development (RTI implementation preferred)
  • Experience with standard signal processing techniques (Fourier transforms, filters, etc.)
  • Prior experience with radar tracking and/or radar signal processing
  • The candidate should be well versed in all aspects of software development including management, documentation, coding standards, configuration control and software testing
  • Good programming practice and testing

  Work location:
  Hybrid - Individual works from home or off-site for a portion of their schedule and within a routinely commutable distance from the Lexington facility. Candidate should expect to be onsite 3-4 days/week.
  
  Interview process :
  Initial pre-screen with hiring manager. If candidate advances, next round of interviews will be with the Group Leaders and Technical Staff Team
