      About this opportunity

If you enjoy delivering solutions to solve problems, this is the role for you!

We have an excellent opportunity to join our CTO Engineering Core Platforms team as a CRM Software Engineer, delivering solutions to Lloyds Banking Group business areas. The Software Engineer CRM role is a great blend of technical skills and business acumen; CRM done well can transform a business. This will suit a driven individual who has both technical and business skills. The aim is to deliver the highest quality customer focused software whilst continually challenging, motivating, mentoring, and supporting their engineering teams.

We have completed a major transformation project to move all our CRMs into cloud and we're now 100% SaaS cloud based. This hugely successful programme was recognised nationally and included several recognitions:

      • Winners of ICC award for “Outstanding behaviour in the field of implementation and Change Management” (Internal Group award)

      • Finalists for FStech “Digital Transformation Project of the Year 2020” (Industry award)

      • Finalists for Digital Technology Leaders “Digital Team of the Year 2021” (Industry award)

      • Highly Commended in Group sustainability awards (Internal Group award)

      • Finalists for FStech “Digital Transformation Project of the Year 2023” (Industry award)

      Why Lloyds Banking Group

From building a truly sustainable business to creating a place where people love to work, we need colleagues who are up for the challenge of our bold ambitions. Who are excited to push boundaries and make change happen. Together, we can grow with purpose.

      What you’ll need

      • You'll be a self-motivated and proactive teammate who has an eye on the bigger picture but can apply laser focus to ensure delivery.

      • You'll enjoy storytelling, look to identify associations and gaps, ask the questions others don’t, drive out clarity from ambiguity and be able to challenge the norm to drive business outcome.

      • You'll demonstrate thought-leadership, encourage positive change, and have the technical ability and drive to deliver those aspirations.

      • Expertise in Microsoft Evergreen D365 SaaS CRM and Microsoft Power Platform.

      • Experience of integrating Microsoft Cloud SaaS Service with on-premise data sources.

      • Experience of enterprise distribution of the Dynamics 365 App for Outlook.

And any experience of these would be really useful

      • Ability to understand business MI requirements and collaborate with colleagues to prototype MI dashboards (using either inbuilt CRM Dashboard capability or integrating Power BI)

      • Experience articulating difficult technical issues to business colleagues or non-technical colleagues

      • Able to collaborate with business colleagues and quickly prototype CRM User Interface prototypes using CRM Dev Environments as a Rapid Application Development tool.

Our focus is to ensure we're inclusive every day, building an organisation that reflects modern society and celebrates diversity in all its forms.

We want our people to feel that they belong and can be their best, regardless of background, identity or culture.

We were one of the first major organisations to set goals on diversity in senior roles, create a menopause health package, and a dedicated Working with Cancer initiative.

And it’s why we especially welcome applications from underrepresented groups.

We’re disability confident. So if you’d like reasonable adjustments to be made to our recruitment processes, just let us know

We also offer a wide ranging benefits package, which includes:

      • A generous pension contribution of up to 15%

      • An annual performance related bonus

      • Share schemes including free shares

      • Benefits you can adapt to your lifestyle, such as discounted shopping

      • 30 days’ holiday, with bank holidays on top

      • A range of wellbeing initiatives and generous parental leave policies
