      Job Description

      U.S. Bank is seeking the position of Software Engineer.

      Essential Responsibilities:

      The Software Engineer is responsible for the analysis, design, testing, development and maintenance of best in class Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Sales Cloud. This role collaborates with a team and across the organization and takes responsibility of the software artifacts produced adhering to U.S. Bank standards in order to ensure minimal impact to the customer experience. Specific duties include: (1) release management, automations and CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce development including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Communities; (2) providing ongoing production support to salesforce platform including user provisioning, configuration and customization of the Salesforce.com platform; (3) designing, developing, and maintaining software and tools to support building, deploying, and monitoring applications; (4) performing administrative tasks and ensuring all aspects of product development follow compliance and security best practices; (5) documenting, triaging and handling production bugs and fixes; (6) creating and maintaining system documentation; (7) embracing emerging technology opportunities and contributing to the best practices in support of the bank’s CRM strategy; (8) working with agile software development lifecycle and DevOps principles; (9) writing test classes for existing and created code to ensure compatibility and stability; and (10) automating process with right tools and focus on creating fault tolerant programming and creating scalable automated solutions for customer base. This position utilizes the following technologies: Salesforce technologies (Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Community); Lightning migration and Lightning component development; and Aura Framework. Telecommuting available from anywhere in US. HQ at 800 Nicollet Mall, Minneapolis, MN 55402.

      Basic Qualifications:

      This position requires a Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems Engineering and Management, Computer Engineering, or a related field and 2 years related experience. In the alternative, will accept a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems Engineering and Management, Computer Engineering, or a related field and 5 years related (progressive, post-baccalaureate) experience.

      Required Skills/Experience:

      Must also have 12 months of experience (which may have been gained concurrently) with each of the following: (1) designing, developing, and maintaining software and tools to support building, deploying, and monitoring applications; (2) automating process with right tools and focus on creating fault tolerant programming and creating scalable automated solutions for customer base; (3) writing test classes for existing and created code to ensure compatibility and stability; (4) working with agile software development lifecycle and DevOps principles; and (5) utilizing the following technologies: Salesforce technologies (Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Community); Lightning migration and Lightning component development; and Aura Framework. Will accept experience gained before, during or after Master’s program.

      Telecommuting available from anywhere in US. HQ at 800 Nicollet Mall, Minneapolis, MN 55402. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $79,500 - $135,200
