MOO set out to shake up the world of print back in 2006. And we’ve come a long way since. Today we’re a 400 + strong team (we’re thinking of getting matching jackets) who create print and digital products for companies of all sizes – from Google and AirBnB to the guy who makes those amazing prints you found at a craft fair.

Our global HQ is in London, UK, while we also have premises in Dagenham. In the US, you’ll find us in Boston, MA, as well as East Providence, RI and Denver, CO.

We’re making new and exciting things – and we could really do with your help.

The Order Fulfilment Network (OFN) is a newly formed platform team dedicated to enabling branded product launches through MOO’s growing vendor network. Our mission is simple: to power launches that drive revenue growth by seamlessly connecting customer orders to trusted manufacturing partners. We work as an agile, collaborative team—partnering with internal stakeholders and external vendors to manage the post-purchase experience. From the moment a customer places an order to the moment their product goes into production, our platform ensures every new product launch is scalable, reliable, and beautifully executed.

As a Software Engineer, you’ll be part of a small, established platform team that plays a key role in MOO’s post-purchase journey. You’ll help ensure that customer orders are smoothly transferred to the appropriate production partners and fulfilled efficiently. You’ll work closely with experienced engineers to enhance the resilience, scalability, and observability of our systems.

This hands-on role will give you the chance to build and maintain core backend services, participate in design discussions, and contribute to platform improvements that support MOO’s product roadmap. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys building robust systems, likes solving technical problems, and wants to grow within a supportive and collaborative team.

*Please note that this is a UK Remote role only*

      Responsibilities
      • Build, test, and deploy backend services using Java (primarily) and TypeScript, as part of a cross-functional, agile team
      • Improve system reliability through better monitoring, alerting, and incident response practices
      • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code to support fulfilment workflows
      • Pair with senior engineers on architecture, design, and troubleshooting
      • Take part in design sessions and contribute to scalable technical decisions
      • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support new product launches and vendor integrations
      • Continuously improve engineering practices—refining CI/CD pipelines, enhancing observability, and optimising developer experience

      About You
      • Thrives in a collaborative, team-focused environment
      • Understands the value of high-quality, well-tested code
      • Challenges themselves and others to improve how things are done
      • Communicates transparently and builds strong relationships with peers and stakeholders
      • Has a keen eye for detail and a focus on reliable system behaviour
      • Cares about internal tooling and the developer experience
      • Is willing to travel to London occasionally for team days, workshops or social events

      Requirements
      • Java (preferably version 21)
      • AWS and event-driven, serverless architectures
      • Infrastructure as code (Terraform)

      Nice To have
      • TypeScript, SAM, or Python
      • MES systems (e.g. Tulip)
      • eCommerce, manufacturing, shipping or fulfilment
      • Agile methodologies and cross-functional collaboration
