      Who We Are

      Seize the opportunity to work with the team responsible for supporting all aspects of IO, circuit design, electrical design, and technology for IP, Security Client product (ISCP) group. This position is in the Chipsets Ingredients Circuit Design Team and is part of ISCP which is within Intel's Design Engineering Group (DEG). We are looking for a candidate who is highly self-motivated, can independently architect, design and develop solutions using latest technologies and is keen to work on emerging technologies.

      Who You Are

      As a Software Engineer, a typical day may include, but is not limited to:

      • Gather and analyze internal customers’ requirements and develop a custom solution.

      • Provide direct software solution support to internal users, get feedback and enhance user experience.

      • Responsible for production support on any issues and closely working with HW validation team to resolve SW problems.

      • Work collaboratively with other software engineers, hardware design teams, define and implement requirements to deliver best-in-class solutions.

      • Develop testing strategies.

      • Drive continuous integration by developing and automating execution.

      • Looking to leverage AI to increase productivity or find innovative solutions to challenging problems in silicon design and debug.

      Qualifications:

      Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.

      Minimum Qualifications:

      • Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar Technical STEM degree.

      • At least 6 months of experience and knowledge in C# and object-oriented coding skills.

      • Proficient in cross platform. Net development for desktop and web applications, windows and linux

      • Proficient in version control - Git

      • Knowledge in CI/CD flow, e.g., Github workflow.

      • Knowledge in Software Engineering and Design methodologies

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar Technical STEM degree.

      • 3 years of related experience with the role

      • 2+ years of experience in C/C++, C# & Object-oriented coding skills

      • Experience in Python

      • Basic knowledge of machine learning and data mining. Some experience with Tensorflow or PyTorch or similar

      • Knowledge of basic logic design

      • Knowledge of basic Computer architecture, ideally Intel platforms

      Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in

      US, California:$91,500.00-$137,436.00

      S al ary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience.

      Work Model for this Role

      This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
