      About the role:

      As a Software Engineer you will work with leading FINTECH technology as you build innovative fintech products that change the way the world pays, banks and invests. This will involve developing core versions of software applications, identifying client requirements and technical specifications, interacting with engineering groups and training clients on applications.

      About the team:

      As a team member on the Protegent product suite’s TCM 2.0 development team you will work with high volume, low latency trading solution, joining a team of highly motivated and highly agile team of developers to maintain and support high volume, low latency components and data hubs. You will be working with our development teams on technical issues, put in performance improvements, and work on high volume data systems. You will get an opportunity to work with multiple products and businesses and develop a deep understanding of the interesting world of trading and compliance.

      What you will be doing:

      • Designing, programming, debugging and modifying Angular, C#.NET Core software enhancements.

      • Interacting with product managers and users to define requirements and modifications.

      • Participating in software design meetings to determine technical requirements.

      • Working with internal Client Training, Client Relationship and Sales teams.


      What you will need:

      • 10+ years of experience in designing and developing highly scalable and reliable web applications, preferably in financial services space

      • Expertise on coding and debugging in AWS, C#, ASP.NET Core, Angular technologies

      • Experience with trade reporting and regulations in US, such as Best Execution, Trade reporting will be a huge advantage

      • Experience with cloud technologies

      • Experience on SQL, Rest API, CSS, HTML is mandatory

      • Experience in CI/CD, automated Unit Testing frameworks will be an added advantage

      • Experience working with high volume enterprise applications

      • Experience developing low latency and high-performance applications

      • Experience working in an Agile Scrum model

      FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $99,830.00 - $167,700.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
