We’re currently looking for a Software Engineer Intern to join our Connected Customer Experience Services team in Silicon Valley, CA.

      As a Software Engineer Intern on the team, you will be able to:

      • Work on new software/hardware platforms which include sensors, interaction methods, mobile solutions (in/out of car), web services, partner solutions and connected cloud services to end user services.

      • Program, develop, and prototype mobile and embedded applications using the latest technology solutions and software.

      • Build-up of proof of concepts and prototypes

      • Analyze potential technology alternatives and experiment with the latest innovations.

      • Work collaboratively with internal product/services managers, research/innovation teams from Nissan and 3rd parties.

      In order to qualify for this role, you must:

      • Currently be pursuing a Master’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, User Experience, or related discipline, with an emphasis on practical applications to the real world.

      • Have a GPA of 3.0 or above.

      • Be self-motivated to apply your working knowledge and toolset to building something and evaluating it.

      • Exhibit strong organization ability with keen attention to detail.

      Bonus points if you have:

      • Experience with Android development.

      • Experience integrating APIs and SDKs.

      • Experience integrating a variety of HMIs and sensors.

      • Hands-on experience building mobile/desktop applications and computer vision systems

      • Knowledge of C/C++ and Java programming languages.

      • Knowledge of other programming languages such as JavaScript, Kotlin, Python, Objective-C, Swift, etc.

      • Willingness to challenge yourself to develop your talents and skillsets.

      • Strong communication skills both written and oral.

      Salary Range Estimate: $32.00-$44.00/hr. This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the salary range for the job’s grade level. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include, among other things, your specific skills, your work location, how many years of experience you have, and comparison to other employees already in this role.
