What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design and develop software for core file sharing and content management collaboration products using Node.js and Java
- Conduct careful analyses, software design, coding, troubleshooting, and unit testing
- Maintain active releases in production while embracing Iterative Development and Agile process principles
- Collaborate with other teams to develop detailed designs and manage implementation dependencies
- Review system requirements from Business Analysts and Product teams to ensure alignment with business needs
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field plus 4 years of experience using Java/Node.js and Object-oriented technologies, or a Master’s degree in the same fields with 1 year of experience
- Demonstrated ability to develop distributed and concurrent systems
- Hands-on experience with Java and Node.js REST API / JSON / XML / ProtoBuf
- Knowledge of performance and scalability concepts
- Familiarity with Micro-service Architecture and Event-driven programming environments
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with asynchronous programming models
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Understanding of software architecture and design patterns
- Previous experience in the financial services or healthcare technology sectors
