What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Actively engage students through frequent interaction to motivate and support their learning
- Guide students in collaborative projects and problem-based learning demonstrations
- Provide constructive feedback on student work and acknowledge their accomplishments
- Demonstrate current subject-matter expertise and connect concepts across the curriculum
- Offer feedback on potential curricular improvements to the program chair
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Human–Computer Interaction, or a related field from an accredited institution
- Ability to guide graduate-level software engineering projects using modern practices and tools
- Proficiency in contemporary software development technologies and tools, including cloud services and UI/UX design
- Prior experience as a technical lead, scrum master, or product manager in relevant software development areas
- Experience teaching adult learners in an online higher education environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with AI-enabled software development, UI design, accessibility engineering, or full-stack development
- Teaching experience in higher education, particularly with adult learners
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and agile teamwork practices
