      What you will do

      Johnson Controls invites you to apply for an internship located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin or Boca Raton, Florida . This internship is designed to provide you with a positive work/training experience and challenging objectives . join the software engineering team and work as a team member under direction of experienced engineers . You will apply and enhance your engineering skills to develop, test, and support software related products.

      How you will do it:

      • Summer 2025- possibility to stay additional time or repeat the following summer

      • Tasked with a specific project

      • Attend provided enrichment/ development sessions

      • Learning about the general product requirements.

      • Assisting engineering team with robotics., physical security and AI related work.

      • Assisting development team with testing and troubleshooting defects.

      Duration: This will be a full-time summer 2023 internship

      What we look for

      Required Qualifications:

      • Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university

      • Pursuing a B.S. in Electrical, Computer, or Software Engineering

      • Currently a Sophomore/Junior status

      • Good Academic Standing

      • U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S.

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • Demonstrates an ability to learn quickly and independently.

      • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) preferred

      • Demonstrated problem solving skills required

      • Experience with C/C++
