  Hourly base pay rate is $19.18 - $28.80/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

  Job Description

  The Consumer Mobile Applications team team is seeking a highly motivated Applications Engineer Intern to design, build, and support solutions for the Autotrader mobile application managed by the team. This person will work closely with team members to deliver value to our customers through quality solutions and problem solving.

  The ideal candidate has a strong technical aptitude with a desire to leverage their skills to enhance existing solutions and embrace emerging technologies that will enable features and integrations for our customers.

  Qualifications:

  • Working towards a Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university in Computer Science (or related field); or equivalent experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Solid analytical and problem solving, technical troubleshooting, and decision-making skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Proven ability to work with team members to deliver projects on deadlines.

  • Self-starter who is motivated by continuous learning and development

  • Strong collaborator and team player

  • experience in coding within multiple technology stacks including Mobile App experience in iOS and Android, API’s, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AWS services, Native App SDK’s, Google play store, Apple store

  • Development languages: DART, Java, Nodejs

  • AWS cloud-native architectures in multiple regions

  • DevOps Tools: Github Actions

  Intern/Co-Op sessions are considered temporary employment. No full-time employment commitments are made. However, depending on our business needs, some interns may be considered for a full-time position following the conclusion of the session conditioned upon the intern graduating from their academic program and being available to commence full-time employment at a specified time.
