      Job Title and Summary

      Software Engineer

      Our software engineers are highly motivated developers, testers, DevOps and architects delivering innovative, reliable and scalable Payment solutions. You have a strong technical commitment, and you are passionate about software development and automated test disciplines. We base our software development on modern tech stack in languages, frameworks, and technologies such as Flutter, iOS, Android, Native, Java, Microservices-based event-driven architecture, automates tests and continuous delivery and deployment.

      All software engineers work in agile high-performance teams in close collaboration with their product owners targeting for the best user experience for customers.

      Mastercard software engineering teams are obsessed with security, reliability, and performance and driven to deliver solutions that delight our customers. We are looking for talented software engineers to develop advanced technologies and applications that are revolutionizing payments.
      • A hands-on engineer who writes high-quality code with a focus on security, design, and maintainability.
      • Contribute to all phases of software development from design through rollout.
      • Have strong ownership of your team’s software including monitoring, dependencies, build, and deployments.

      What you’ll need
      • To be available for start from September 2024
      • To be a Final Year Masters/Undergraduate Student or to have graduated no earlier than September 2023
      • Studying Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
      • Strong interest in technology
      • Experience using Python, Java, C#, JavaScript, Ios, Android, Flutter or similar are of advantage
      • Strong verbal and written communication skills
      • Analytical and problem-solving skills
      • Strong strategic and conceptual aptitude
      • High-energy, can-do attitude, very strong sense of ownership and desire to succeed with matching analytical, technical, and strategic skills

      Language skills:
      • English
      • Danish is advantage
