      Overview

      We are currently seeking an Associate SDET specialist to join our Team.

      This role involves 50% manual testing scripting and 50 % automation. Strong verbal, written communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment are essential. We move quickly, client oriented and look for team members with excellent problem-solving techniques and the ability to make sound decisions

      Responsibilities

      • Write test cases and develop reliable automated test cases.
      • Do different types of testing: functional, UI, performance, etc.
      • Analyze and test B2B information systems and microservice based multi-tier distributed applications based on technologies like Java, Angular etc.
      • Raising, tracking, and re-testing defects until resolution while performing hardware testing.
      • Analyzes test results; assists with troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis
      • Ensuring all tests are executed as required and results and statistics are clearly communicated in line.
      • Work with Agile scrum team to ensure the acceptance criteria is met.

      Qualifications

      • Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field required.
      • Testing (manual/automation) experience.
      • Be interested in and able to test applications thoroughly, with a strong eye for detail.
      • Taking responsibility for own work and managing own time effectively.
      • Must have a strong understanding of OOPs concepts.
      • Must be a Good Team Player.
      • Must be comfortable in working with any existing Test Automation Framework and be able to contribute towards the improvement of the Test Framework.
      • Basic knowledge of development tools such as Eclipse, IntelliJ, Bugzilla, Maven, Jenkins and Git.
      • Basic understanding continuous integration/development practices.
      • Working experience with multiple operating systems (Unix/Linux) and scripting languages.
      • Excellent communication, organizational and analytical skills to work with other developers and business administrators.

      Advantageous Skills:

      • Experience in using Non-Functional and Functional automation tools such as JMeter and Selenium, Spock, Docker, etc.
      • Experience of supporting, modifying and maintaining systems and code developed by teams.
      • Experience of working with Java, Groovy, Gradle, CI/CD tools as Jenkins and GitLab, etc.
      • Experience of working with code repositories (e.g., Git, SVN), bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
