      The job profile for this position is Software Engineering Senior Advisor, which is a Band 4 Senior Contributor Career Track Role with Cigna-Evernorth Services, Inc.

      Responsibilities

      • Develops simple, modern, and composable cloud-first solutions across an extensive portfolio of integrated business products.
      • Works as part of a team of developers to deliver integration solutions for portfolio initiatives.
      • Supports the entire software delivery lifecycle, which includes analysis, design, development, automated testing, and DevOps.
      • Ensures that integration solutions are consistent with architectural direction and already established patterns.
      • Contributes towards proof of concepts for application and process development integration patterns and software tools.
      • Plans and implements operational efficiency and automation procedures using DevOps.
      • Participates in all agile ceremonies and completes work using Agile development methodology.
      • Collaborates with delivery partners and stakeholders, in addition to providing mentorship to other team members on standard practices such as resiliency, observability, scalability, security, and cost optimization. Partial virtual/work from home benefit available.

      Qualifications

      • Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field and 5 years of IT experience.
      • Must have experience with: Java; Spring Boot; Camel; SOAP Services; RESTful APIs; JBoss EAP; Fuse; Oracle; SQL Server; MQ; OpenShift; Agile development methodologies; building CI/CD pipelines using GIT, JFrog Artifactory, UDeploy, and Jenkins; and building products with monitoring and alerting using Splunk and DynaTrace.


      If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
