What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage a portfolio of 28-30 clients, primarily software engineering and applications leaders reporting to CIOs
- Deliver value through briefings, workshops, roundtables, and webinars, leveraging Gartner's resources
- Coach and mentor clients on critical software engineering initiatives and challenges
- Track and report value delivered to clients, aligning with their enterprise or CIO objectives
- Foster member retention and renewal of subscription-based services through strategic partnerships
What is Required (Qualifications):
- University graduate (Master's preferred)
- 20+ years of software engineering leadership experience with full responsibility for enterprise applications
- Previous direct reporting to a CIO as Director or Leader of Software Engineering or VP of Enterprise Applications
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to provide actionable advice
- Excellent relationship-building skills and experience working with senior executives
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience leading large-scale ERP programs and involvement in digital transformation initiatives
- Background in management consulting
- Expertise in modern enterprise application lifecycle management approaches
- Knowledge of software trends and emerging best practices for product design and development
- Experience in building digital platforms and transforming solution delivery methodologies
