Job Title: Soil Technician
Job Description
A local geotechnical firm is looking to add a Soil Technician to work on construction projects in the Seattle Area. The candidate will be operating a nuclear density gauge to conduct soil compaction testing and writing reports. Additionally, they will be testing concrete and asphalt samples. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in the field and have experience in engineering, geology, construction, or a related field.

Work Environment
Meet at the office in Kirkland at 7 AM, head out into the field for the day, and end the day at 4 or 5 PM by dropping off the vehicle at the office. Projects are located in the Seattle area. The firm provides a collaborative and supportive work environment, offering a wide range of environmental and geotechnical services, including geology, geophysics, groundwater, geotechnical engineering, and environmental assessments.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr.
