Job Description
- Req#: R4025
- Generate new business by working an assigned territory, qualifying customer eligibility for rooftop solar and scheduling appointments for interested customers to meet with a solar expert to review a customized proposal.
- Use a consultative selling approach; increase customer’s awareness of solar options as well as competitive advantage over other solar providers; provide potential customers with program details and answer questions or concerns.
- Utilize satellite imaging platforms such as Project Sunroof, Google Earth, and Google Maps (Satellite)
- Assure quality and accuracy of solar eligibility qualifications; ensure customers attend scheduled appointments and/or attend scheduled appointments; represent the company professionally and ensure that potential customers have an exceptional experience.
- Keep detailed records of sales activity via CRM technology on a company provided iPad. Effective daily management of appointments and planning targeted residential customers.
- Develop collaborative working relationships with other sales representatives and teams across the solar organization.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills (friendly, personable, positive personality)
- Highly motivated to sell with a desire to succeed
- Understanding and comfortable using technology solutions (iPad, CRM, Calendly, etc.)
- Customer focused, results oriented
- Strong Time management skills
- Professional demeanor and attire
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Driver’s license with a good driving record, a reliable personal vehicle, auto insurance coverage that satisfies the minimum requirement for the state.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to work outdoors daily with exposure to an outside environment, which includes inclement weather.
- The employee is regularly required to drive, sit, stand, and walk; use hands and fingers to operate the iPad; and be able to occasionally lift up to 10 lbs (iPad, training binders, marketing materials, etc.).

Salary Range:
$35,000.00 - $35,000.00*This range reflects base pay only. Incentive earnings, like commissions or bonuses, are not included.
This role is also eligible for an uncapped sales commission. During your transition period, you may be eligible for an annual minimum commission of $20,000 or $30,000 depending on geography.Our Offer to You:
