Job Title: Solar General Laborer

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated solar laborers and installers to contribute to an existing solar project. The role involves utilizing basic hand tools to change out clamps and completing tasks in a timely and safe manner. Candidates must be able to follow specific instructions and be comfortable with PPE, including gloves, glasses, vest, hard hat, and face shield. Duties include general labor tasks such as dismantling and assembling racks, heavy lifting, and working outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Use basic hand tools to change out clamps on existing solar projects.
• Complete work efficiently and safely while following specific instructions.
• Dismantle and assemble racks as needed.
• Perform heavy lifting and work comfortably outdoors.
• Adhere to safety protocols and wear required PPE.

Essential Skills

• Experience with solar, general labor, or construction.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
• Comfortable with solar panel installation and assembly.
• Mechanically inclined with experience in construction.
• Possession of or ability to obtain OSHA 10 certification.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Past solar experience is highly valued.
• Commercial construction experience is a plus.
• Ability to take initiative and work independently.

Work Environment

This position involves working onsite at headquarters in Fremont, CA. The work environment requires adherence to safety protocols, including wearing personal protective equipment. The role is outdoors and involves heavy lifting, providing a physically engaging work setting.

This is a Contract position based out of Fremont, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
