      Job Description:
      Support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) program as a Solution Expert providing Cerner expertise, support, and knowledge transfer sessions to the National/VISN Councils/local workshops, and VA solution experts. Support Solution Expert in translation of functional requirements. Facilitate ticket management activities. Collaborate with Solution Management Administrator to facilitate design reviews and provide guidance and recommendations for solution optimization. Support the Office of Functional Champion Testing Team (OFCt) with testing activities. Facilitate best review of Oracle best practice recommendations for workflow and configuration.

      Minimum qualifications:

      1. 5+ years of professional work experience
      2. Works independently designing and developing new software products or major enhancements to existing software for a healthcare/clinical environment.
      3. Acts as highest level technical expert, addressing problems of systems integration, compatibility, healthcare semantics, informatics and multiple platforms.
      4. Responsible for project completion.
      5. Performs feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management
      6. Bachelor's degree in Healthcare IT, computer science, electronics engineering, engineering or technical related field, or an additional 10 years of experience may be substituted for degree requirements
      Preferred qualifications:
      1. VA experience preferred
      2. Experience implementing Electronic Health Records
