The mandate of Information Technology Services is to create business value by providing innovative and strategic technology solutions for the business operations of the City of Ottawa.
You develop and deliver technology solutions and provide ITS technical support and subject matter expertise to assigned client groups across the City in one or more technical competency areas, such as:
As part of a team of Senior Analysts, Solution Developers and Project Managers, you: act as an advisor to clients in understanding technology capabilities to meet business needs; support the design, development and implementation of solutions; configure tools and write solution specification and technical requirements; and provide technical support and expertise.
You support a range of smaller-scale, or specific components of larger-scale, business applications/solutions for assigned client groups and/or projects.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Completion of 3 year university degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
Minimum of 3 years of related experience with specific experience in the relevant technical competency area including software/application development and integration
