It’s an exciting time to join the team here at AXA Health, with significant investment planned in all UK & I businesses to transform, deliver new digital services to our customers, streamline, and automate our business processes. We’re looking for a Solution Architect to join our team on a 12 month fixed term contract.

Reporting into our Enterprise Architect, you’ll act as the design authority ensuring alignment to the AXA Health IT Target Architecture, architectural principles, vision and required governance processes.

At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home, either at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events.

What you’ll be doing:

• Defining the solution vision, roadmap and capabilities required
• Evaluating solution options, integration patterns and recommending the right solution for the situation
• Demonstrating a good level of architectural understanding of modern security practices and standards
• Taking responsibility for architectural due diligence and input into any RFI/RFP processes for third party engagement
• Collaborating with internal teams to ensure solution design complies with security and data protection best practices
• Seeking out and providing regular feedback on performance and delivery
• Researching and designing technical solutions that meet stakeholder needs, delivering tangible benefit to the business
• Establishing a network of peers across IT and other AXA entities

What we’re looking for:

• Previous experience as a Solution Architect
• Expert architectural knowledge of technologies/platforms/frameworks – Particularly Salesforce, Azure and MS Dynamics
• Proven ability to provide technical leadership in a product team or domain
• Knowledge of modern integration, data interoperability and migration patterns
• Excellent understanding of current and emerging technologies and their potential to deliver business benefit
• Ability to manage effective stakeholder relationships to Senior Manager and ‘Head of’ level
• Use of agile practices, principles and theories including Value Stream level ceremonies
