      We are strengthening our sustainability competence in IM and looking for a Solution architect, Sustainability to join our global team of professionals. In this position you will act as a liaison between business stakeholders and IM development by translating sustainability reporting and data related requirements into actual reporting solutions and data related capability improvement. You will work closely with business area stakeholders in the sustainability area as well as IM function representatives on technical solution, architecture and data areas.

      This role could be based in any of our sites in Finland or Bulgaria: Helsinki, Tampere, Kaarina and Sofia and reports to the Enterprise Architect, Cargotec.

      Main tasks and responsibilities

      • Steering development of systems enabling compliance to European CSRD and CBAM legislation, and in cooperation with the relevant stakeholders planning of the data collection and reporting processes required for compliance.
      • Recognizing areas and use cases where sustainability data can bring value, e.g. through better decision making, and understanding of the data content and business context to be able to guide development in those areas
      • Product ownership of sustainability data models and business intelligence reports, and in that role working together with the functional teams and the development teams to drive development initiatives from ideation to deployment.
      • Guiding, reviewing, monitoring, or similar role in operational sustainability reporting processes as specified later when those processes are designed.
      • Staying up-to-date with sustainability related regulation
      • Driving and managing business relationship for all the topics above

      What you’ll need to succeed

      • Understanding of sustainability regulation and reporting requirements
      • Experience in system or reporting development area
      • Experienced in translating business requirements into system and reporting capabilities
      • Understanding of dependencies and integrations between platforms and solutions
      • Understanding of data quality
      • Experience with Google Data Studio and BigQuery beneficial
      • Strong team working skill combined with ability to drive things forward
      • Fluency in English - both written and spoken

      In addition following are beneficial

      • Experienced with agile & devops ways of working
      • Experience with development of cloud technologies (GCP/AWS/Azure) beneficial
      • Understanding of data architecture, analytics and data governance
      • Knowledge of SQL and operational databases such as BigQuery
      • Experience with working with large amounts of data from various sources
