      Principal Technical Business Analyst

Our suite of platform-based innovative digital solutions (web, mobile app, dev toolkits, etc.…) allows airlines to deliver the best online booking and servicing experience to their passengers, with an aim to enhance customer satisfaction and build loyalty.

      The Airline Digital Services organization is large and diverse: more than 700 people over multiple sites (Nice, London, Bengaluru, Bogotá…). To better respond to our business challenges, the working model is fully in Agile mode, now extended to large scale SAFe mode, grouping both commercial units and digital development units in the same Digital trains.

      In the region, we are present in Canada, Colombia, and USA.

      Summary of the role:

      The candidate will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on our ARDW software product. The role involves understanding the functional flow of the system, addressing customer inquiries, clarifying complex topics, and presenting demos as required. This role is critical to providing a high-quality experience for our clients and contributing to the overall success of our products.

      In this role you’ll:

      • Be the initial point of contact for functional clarifications related to ARDW, providing comprehensive responses or redirecting queries as necessary. You'll be leading this task daily, occupying approximately 50% of your time.

      • Assist customer personnel in familiarizing themselves with the application by testing on local platforms and providing workarounds when applicable. This task will involve daily collaboration and will take up about 30% of your time.

      • Provide in-depth presentations or functional sessions on specific features as required by customers. You'll be leading this weekly task which will occupy approximately 20% of your time.

      About the ideal candidate:

      • Education: University degree in Business, Scientific studies or related field, or equivalent work experience. Fluent in written and spoken English.At least 2 years of experience on Airline IT.

      • Relevant Work Experience: Functional knowledge of Amadeus products, particularly the Amadeus Reservation Desktop (ARDw) and Altea Suite.

      • Experience in one of the following domains will be a plus: Reservation, Fare, Pricing, Ticketing or Payment.

      • Prior experience in a customer-facing role is also a plus.

      Business Understanding:

      • Good understanding of the day-to-day operations and needs of an airline, preferably through firsthand experience from a previous role.

      Skills:

      • Language Skills: English

      • Specific Knowledge: Familiarity with software development processes, excellent presentation skills, and ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users.

      • Specific Knowledge: SQL (data queries), XML (API technology), HTML (website technology), Splunk/Kibana (logging solutions)

      • Other: Quick learning, excellent time management, able to work independently, and good problem-solving skills.

      • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
