  Join the team supporting Axis' product portfolio!

  The Solutions Engineer works closely with Product Management in Sweden & Czech Republic and research the needs of the Americas to influence future product development. This role requires for the individual to be based anywhere in the United States for ease of travel internally and outside and will support the Americas region.

  Who is your future team?

  The entire portfolio is divide among the different Solutions Engineers and its their responsibility to advocate for success within their part of the portfolio.

  As described by a team member "I see myself as an extension of Product Management focused on collecting and providing them with the information they need to make the best decisions regarding the portfolio and future development."

  What you’ll do here as a Solutions Engineer?

  The Solutions Engineer (SE) will have a primary responsibility as a regional product portfolio manager on 2N technologies in the Americas. The role will act as liaisons with the offices in Sweden & Czech Republic, to share market and product feedback and information for input for product development and partnerships. They will support R&D teams working on products from early inception, through launch, implementations by integrators, support escalation and influence next generation versions. SE’s will provide in-depth insight and product knowledge to internal and external customers.

  • Provide regional market feedback and trends for use in product roadmaps.

  • Operate as subject matter expert on assigned technology features and capabilities.

  • Review and provide insight on product sales performance as defined by management.

  • Understand competitive landscape on assigned technologies.

  • Support pre- sales and professional services activities, including field work and visits.

  • Support pilots and proof of concept implementations when relevant.

  • Represent Axis at both internal and external face speaking opportunities when appropriate.

  • Work in lock step with product marketing activities and customize market messaging around technologies for the local market.

  We'd love to hear that you have/are:

  • B.S. degree in computer science or related preferred

  • 5+ years’ experience in physical security industry

  • Experience with computer networking infrastructure technologies.

  • Experience with network surveillance/CCTV & photography/optics background

  Physical Demands and Travel:

  • Expected travel time for this position is approximately 30-50% annually.

  Pay Range:

  The approximate pay range for this location and position is $100,000-115,000 (OTE) annually. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual's qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as physical work location within the state.
