      MEET THE TEAM

      Our Global Enterprise Segment is seeking a dedicated Solutions Engineer (SE) to serve as a trusted advisor and partner to top Enterprise Organizations.

      - Partner with Account Executives in a pre-sales technical role, showcasing Cisco product solutions, setting up demonstrations, explaining features and benefits, and designing and configuring products to meet customer needs.

      - Collaborate as an integral team member to demonstrate the business value of Cisco Services, Solutions, and Architectures by aligning opportunities with customer challenges and priorities, ensuring the architectural vision addresses desired outcomes and capabilities.

      - Access a diverse palette of Cisco technologies across vertical markets including Retail, Transportation, Manufacturing, and Oil & Gas.

      - Work with the Account Manager to develop solutions, demonstrate architectures, and research customized solutions, providing architectural insights across Cisco's portfolio.

      - Act as a trusted technical adviser, guiding both the account team and customers.

      - Stay informed on competitors' solutions, products, and services.

      - Assist in developing formal sales plans and proposals for opportunities.

      YOUR IMPACT

      - Build consultative relationships with customers and collaborate with Product teams to develop customer-focused architectures and drive innovation.

      - Lead the architectural sales process aligned with Cisco's technology strategy and customer business drivers.

      - Demonstrate business relevance to executive stakeholders.

      - Identify top opportunities and design future state architectures and Cisco's technical strategies.

      - Create innovative architectural solutions to address customer business problems.

      - Deliver technical presentations and architecture selling methodologies to customers.

      - Passionate about customer experience and technology advancement.

      - A collaborative team player eager to learn.

      - Possess baseline SE/SA skills and deep knowledge in at least one adjacent technology such as Data Center, Collaboration, Security, or Route/Switch/Wireless.

      - Knowledge of solutions sets, product specifications, performance criteria, and applications.

      - Understanding of company, competitors, technologies, and market opportunities and threats.

      - Deep understanding of customer business models and financial challenges, framing Cisco offerings accordingly.

      - Strong technical consulting skills, including defining trade-offs, asking questions, and integrating Cisco solutions into broader environments.

      - Share information on replicable architectures suitable for assigned customers.

      MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

      - 8+ years of experience in networking, telecommunications, or data centers, with Cisco product experience or relevant competitor experience.

      - Pre-sales experience required.

      - Excellent communication, listening, and presentation skills.

      - Effective team contribution skills.

      - Strong problem-solving skills.


      PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

      - BS/BA in EE/CS or equivalent experience.

      - CCNP, CCDP, or similar vendor certification preferred.

      - Knowledge of Collaboration, Security, SDN, virtualization technologies.
