- Preventive maintenance troubleshooting spares and sustaining can include use of microscope and probe repair.
- Improvement processes troubleshooting nonstandard events in the production line and reviewing technological health and stability.
- May be responsible for the buddy trainer and certifier levels and in charge of updating training manuals.
- May participate in safety forums and Emergency Response Team as required.
- Work is somewhat complex and is performed within the spectrum ranging from narrowly defined parameters and limited judgment up to highly complex and nonstandard assignments in nature and broadly defined parameters.
- Normally receives general instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on new work.
- Perform physical tasks associated with equipment repair detailed visual inspection and standing and/or sitting for extended periods of time.
- Work a compressed work week 12 hours per shift.
- Judgment and initiative is required in resolving complex nonstandard problems and developing recommendations.
- HS/GED or higher non-semi degree and 1+ year Technical certification or trade school OR
- HS/GED or higher non-semi degree and 2+ years hands on experience where preventative maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting are a primary job requirement for the position including military technical experience OR
- HS/GED or higher non-semi degree and 1+ year semi equip maintenance experience OR
- STEM Associate degree or higher

Manufacturing Technicians in Sort Test Technology Development (STTD) Die Sort perform functions associated with all wafer production including:-Operations equipment maintenance process and training.-Collects and evaluates operating data to conduct online equipment adjustment and ensure process optimization.
