      Inviting applications for the role of Sourcing Specialist – Senior Process Associate – English – Remote Budapest

      Responsible for supporting Sourcing/Procurement processes related to PS Parts Sourcing Operations. This role will solve complex problems, execute objectives, and support short-term/long-term business goals. A key element of this position will be to manage PO placement and activities required for the documentation collection, including data uploads, document collection, manual transaction creation in ERP and historical analysis of transactions
      Responsibilities
      • Identify/validate supply chain for Customer demand for First Time Buy and non-Year over Year parts.
      • Manage Installation Parts Requests received in client ERP systems
      • Reach out to sites (requestor) if further information is needed
      • Work with engineering to create part numbers as necessary.
      • Engage resources across departments (warehouses, factories, global sourcing, projects, engineering) to develop solutions for critical short cycled items.
      • Provide weekly status update to Installation sites on weekly basis
      • Follow up IPR status with Cross functional teams (Logistics/Procurement)
      • Continuously monitor KPIs
      • Support strategic sourcing in Year over Year parts re-quoting based on commodity strategy. Define alternate supply chain based on fulfillment needs.
      • Identify opportunities for cost saving with suppliers.
      • Concisely communicate status of critical quote and order lines to management in a timely manner. Interfacing / coordinating with Strategic Sourcing Team, Supply Chain Specialists and Buyers to create purchase orders to the proper supplier.
      • Work closely with other sourcing functions to ensure that sourcing goals are met for Fulfillment, Cost and Quality.
      • Drive continuous improvement projects. Communicate to Order Management and Engineering Teams regarding Item Master issues.
      • Proactively work on issues causing purchase order placement delay and support additional information collection.
      • Further tasks not included in this Job Description that are assigned by the leader/manager verbally or written.

      Minimum qualifications
      • Bachelor’s / University degree in Engineering or Economics
      • Negotiation skills
      • relevant work experience in sourcing or another equivalent experience.
      • Self-Starter – able to excel in fast paced business environment.
      • Experience in coordinate work together with cross functional teams
      • Experience working in SAP/Oracle
      • Ability of working w Databases, and online tools
      • Advanced level in English is a must at all levels (written and oral)
      • Very good customer service and solution- / result-oriented attitude.
      • Excellent analytical skills, strong attention to details
      • Highly motivated
      • Ability to organize, assess, prioritize tasks, risks, resources
      • Functional ability using personal computing applications (word, spreadsheets, graphics, email, etc.)
      Preferred qualifications
      • Proficiency in other European languages is a benefit.
      • Good understanding of different Power plant concepts is an advantage
