      JOB OVERVIEW

      Spa Attendants are responsible for educating guests on how to use the spa facility. They ensure that all spa areas are clean, organized and up-to-date with all spa standards.

      DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

      • Maximize revenue by recommending the spas “do it yourself” experiences.
      • Maintain the highest standard of guest service
      • Conduct spa tours for all guests, VIPs and prospective members. Act as an Ambassador for the spa at all times.
      • Consistently record guest preferences, accurately updating guest profiles and communicating any relevant information to colleagues.
      • Report any guest complaints to the Spa Manager so that they can be handled promptly and effectively.
      • Organize the day in accordance to appointment book. Being strategic as to what rooms will be used, how many guests will be in the locker area, and who are the guests coming to visit the spa.
      • Prepare all spa areas in accordance to spa standards.
      • Log any areas that were not properly cleaned by the night cleaners.
      • Log any maintenance issues in software. Communicate any pending items with Assistant Spa Director
      • Respond to all guest enquiries promptly and efficiently.
      • Provide information on spa facilities during tours including benefits, utilization instructions and health and safety.
      • Maintain the cleanliness, presentation and organization of the all spa areas.
      • Ensure that adequate supply of amenities, linen and products are available for spa guests. Report any items that need to be re-ordered to Assistant Spa Director.
      • Prepare the spa area for the arrival of the next shift.
      • Liaise with other hotel departments to ensure guest needs are met and communicated. Maintain a good knowledge of the hotel and facilities available.
      • Day to day responsibility for equipment, products, cleanliness and hygiene of all spa areas.
      • Maintain a high standard of appearance and personal hygiene as laid down by the Spa Director/Manager.
      • Always be punctual and prepared in advance of treatments.
      • Support all departments in the spa including covering spa reception and fitness attendant duties as and when required.
      • Must adhere to training as set down by the Spa Supervisor and attend all training courses as deemed necessary.
