- Achieve 100% of spa booking goal.
- Spend 70% of time on direct sales contact through phone calls, meetings, events, written communication and following leads.
- Work in conjunction with The Broadmoor sales and conference teams identifying new business opportunities.
- Daily communication with Spa Director regarding the needs of confirmed group business and yield management opportunities.
- Follow-up leads for corporate sales from other sales and/or conference managers.
- Maximize participation of corporate groups in The Spa through active contact of confirmed groups, direct participation in site and arrangement visits, and continued coordination and up-sale with meeting planners.
- Communicate “spend” opportunities scenarios to maximize Spa usage.
- Create, maintain, and manage all group business within the spa to include but not limited to spa contracts, spa booking [blocks], spa listing for groups and actualization for groups.
- Attend all pre-cons and/or planning visits with groups as needed.
- Develop and maintain documentary tools that measure the effectiveness of sales and booking pace.
- Follow trends and stay current in spa marketing, service, and protocols.
- Model superior guest relations always.
- Work closely with the Spa Director to ensure smooth operations of the spa including opening and closing duties, ensuring quality standards throughout all sections of the Spa and acting as the manager on duty.
- Prepare inventory reports and conduct inventory when directed.
- Organize and maintain stock, back stock, and display merchandise.
- Prepare purchase orders.
- Conduct or oversee product knowledge training.
- Perform as a Cashier/Spa Concierge, as needed, based on business demand.
- Assure prompt mail-order responses.
- Provide full service to guests (be able to make and modify spa appointments as well as conduct retail sales).
- Be flexible and positive to changes required to enhance guest experience or to meet the fiscal needs of the organization.
- Provide friendly and professional service to all internal and external guests and always exhibit a positive attitude.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Uphold and abide by all Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, and/or two to four years related direct sales and marketing experience. Spa management experience considered a plus.
- Supervisory experience a plus. This role will be responsible for overseeing Spa/Salon and fitness areas and will act as the manager on duty when needed.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), accounting software, inventory software, payroll systems, and order processing systems
- Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic team member who works well with others
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Occasional heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) with a work environment that may be indoors and outdoors at times

Job Summary:

As a member of the Spa team, this role will be responsible for promoting spa revenue growth and yield management through driving additional revenue with primary emphasis on all Broadmoor group business. This is to include all group business from The Broadmoor, Emerald Valley Ranch, Cloud Camp and The Fly Fish Camp.
