The Opportunity

The Space Analyst will be the go-to contact for space and facility usage questions by all departments on campus and strategize on optimizing our campus facility resources. You will identify and assist in space allocation for specific functions or purposes and perform space utilization studies, analyses and reports for committees, leadership and university/state/federal entities as required. You will also update standardized documents and information so that the campus has up-to-date information.
Percentage Breakdown of Job Functions:
50% Support the usage of campus space and resources
15% Liaison for space allocation changes
10% Perform space audits and other report development and compilation. Maintain campus space data
10% GIS and AutoCAD SME
5% Other duties as assigned.

This is a full-time (100% FTE), permanent position. This position is overtime eligible.
This position works on-site on the WSU Vancouver campus. The position will be primarily on-campus and may have limited remote work opportunities after 6 months, requiring supervisor approval.
Monthly Salary: $4,740 to $5,643 | Range 53, Steps A to H | Successful candidates typically begin at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with WAC 357-28 .
In accordance with RCW 49.58.110, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate’s current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position.

Required Qualifications
Four years of college training with a major in a related field AND two years’ experience in space analyst or related work. Additional applicable work experience may substitute year-for-year for required education.
Preferred Qualifications
Related work in higher educational institution or similar.
