      Who are you?

      As the Finance Director you will be responsible for ensuring compliant tax and financial reporting, monitoring CLP sales, contributing to global cash management and Financial Planning & Analysis, and leading strategic plan preparation, budget, and forecast processes. Additionally, you will act as the local Finance Business Partner, managing the finance team, processes, and systems while following the guidelines from the Global Finance of AXA Partners.

      Key Responsibilities:

      Financial Compliance

      • Ensure secure financial accounting and local regulatory reporting.
      • Oversee the preparation of IPA SA & AXA Group reportings (IFRS & Solvency 2 frameworks).
      • Implement and maintain appropriate internal controls and manage the relationship with external auditors.

      Tax Compliance

      • Sign off on direct and indirect taxes compliance for the legal entities.
      • Ensure the corporate structure is optimal in regard to taxes.

      Financial Planning and Reporting

      • Lead the strategic planning, budgets, and forecasts process, gathering and consolidating data and information in coordination with local stakeholders.
      • Ensure adequate and timely reporting for AXA Group, central, regional, and local ex-comm.
      • Drive efficiency initiatives to optimize productivity and quality in the Finance team in the Country.

      Finance Systems

      • Support and drive local execution of finance transformation programs.

      People Management

      • Lead and motivate a team of approximately 20 full-time employees, ensuring appropriate deployment of resources and matching competencies to requirements.
      • Develop effective development plans for employees to enhance their performance and empower the teams.
      • Proactively lead change management projects, unite teams around a strategic vision, and embark the teams in the transformation journey for best execution and delivery.

      Must have:

      • Finance, Economics, and/or accounting degree qualifications.
      • Over 5 years of experience as a financial controller or in a similar role.
      • Substantial and proven experience in financial management, including financial planning and analysis, reporting, accounting procedures, and controls.
      • Proven leadership capability.
      • In-depth knowledge of the industry and local markets, regulatory and tax environment, and competitors.
      • Experience in managing finance programs (system change, organizational improvement) with strong change management capabilities.
      • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to listen, seek feedback and insights, and communicate a clear vision of the future.
      • Willingness to challenge and escalate where appropriate.
      • Ability to influence and deliver through others.
      • Demonstrates strong business acumen understands business needs and has the ability to translate them, with a problem-solving approach that goes beyond their own expertise.
      • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
