      Your Job…

      As the maternity cover for our Spanish Copywriter at HBO Max EMEA, you will help drive success for the Streaming Marketing team of HBO Max and discovery+. You will collaborate with innovative Marketers, Creative Project Managers, Designers and Creative Technologists to execute creative campaigns across marketing and editorial channels. This role will take advantage of the crafts of writing and transcreating to match the brand voice with a full-funnel digital 1st approach, while collaborating on various result-driven projects in a quick-paced, learning-based environment.

      You will create engaging copy, partner with other peers, and create solutions to unique growth-related challenges and to prepare for the launch of Max, Warner Bros. Discovery’s future streaming offering in Spain.

      This job isn’t just about creating and executing top-of-the-line creative campaigns. It’s also about building a meaningful, long-lasting relationship between our brand, millions of people, and the entertainment we all love.

      Your Role Accountabilities…

      • You will work in a customer-focused team designing high performance digital communications.

      • You will be responsible for localizing English-language master copy into Spanish across all consumer touchpoints in EMEA.

      • You will be involved in concept development for local campaigns and productions, as well as writing for CRM (email, push and in-app) campaigns, display & social advertising and the HBO Max platform.

      • You will contribute ideas and take copywriting responsibility for Spanish campaigns.

      • You will create taglines and key messaging in Spanish for all US Originals on HBO Max.

      • You’ll ensure copy and ideas are up to brand tone and standards, as well as marketing goals and be responsible for all tone of voice materials for Spain.

      • You will be the guardian of quality and alignment in video asset production, proofing and approving copy for teasers, trailers and always on.

      • You will have the opportunity to lead the creation of messages and themes that succeed across mediums, formats and all digital campaign types including display, search and CRM.

      • You will demonstrate an excellent understanding of Spanish audiences and adapt content to fit their needs and desires.

      • You will approve Spanish copy created by other Warner Bros. Discovery teams, including Product and Customer Experience.

      • You will build up and utilize your own Spanish translation memory in Lokalise.

      Qualifications & Experience

      • Proven experience at a content, CRM, performance or digital agency or in-house creative team with a strong focus on digital marketing.

      • Portfolio of beautiful work that demonstrates a variety of marketing executions with emphasis on digital and the mastery of spelling, grammar and style.

      • Experience with all aspects of digital marketing (e.g., display, content, social media, CRM, UX copy) and ability to write for all channels.

      • Experience working with social media channels, SEO, and specific CRM product lines (email & push notifications).

      • A love of television and social media, as well as a passion for staying on top of trends.

      • Fluent in Spanish and English; further languages are a plus.

      • Experience in using analytics to derive insights and further evolve copy
