      GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
      Teacher works directly with parents and students to design and implement quality educational programs to best meet the needs of homeschool students in compliance with district policy and state regulations. Teacher serves as an advisory teacher for homeschool students within the local contact area, maintains office schedule and helps oversees local office staff. Teacher will also review, amend, write, and interpret documents/policy/procedures as needed and provide Special Education services consultative for students with special needs.

      POSITION: Special Education Teacher and Homeschool Advisory Teacher

      QUALIFICATIONS
      Bachelor’s degree or higher
      Valid Alaska Type T teaching certificate with a Special Education Endorsement
      Homeschool experience preferred
