What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assign short and long-term tasks on consulting projects, including data collection and analysis
- Prepare status reports, program analysis, and materials for client presentations
- Plan and monitor project tasks
- Influence policy research related to state and federal education requirements
- Participate in team-based projects to provide guidance and professional development to education partners
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent plus 5 years of experience
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Leadership and problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate with district staff and maintain accurate records
- Experience in planning, developing, and delivering training to large groups
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master's Degree in Special Education or related field
- Certification in Exceptional Child Generalist, Early Childhood Special Education, or related areas
- Experience with tiered academic and behavior intervention frameworks
- Knowledge of Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA)
- Experience with program evaluation, instructional coaching, and behavior intervention planning
