What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Facilitate organizational assessments and evaluations for consulting projects
- Conduct data collection and analysis, including survey administration and report preparation
- Provide training and support for the development and implementation of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS)
- Offer consultation to school teams on behavioral and instructional support for students with disabilities
- Ensure compliance with state and federal special education requirements through monitoring and technical assistance
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent plus 5 years of experience in special education or a related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to plan and deliver training to large groups
- Knowledge of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and Idaho's special education process
- Proven leadership and problem-solving skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master’s Degree in Special Education or a related field
- Three or more years of experience working in schools and with school teams
- Certification as an Exceptional Child Generalist or related special education certification
- Familiarity with tiered academic and behavioral intervention frameworks (RTI/MTSS/PBIS)
- Experience with positive behavioral approaches in school settings
